We will create a personalized guided tour based on the desires of your group (1 to 14 people). Your group will be the only people on this tour, built to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone involved. This is perfect tour to create lifelong memories for your special occasion or for celebrating an important event with family and friends. We'll start by asking questions about where and when you want to go, how you want to travel and what you are interested in. From that information, we will create a rough itinerary and pricing. Once you pay a deposit, we will talk to every member of the group and create activities and recommendations just for them. So, everyone will travel together, but may be doing different things.
You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel in central London. Once you check in, please join us for a welcome drink.
After you and your party have a chance to settle in, we will take an orientation walk in the heart of this magnificent city. Our walk will start in Covent Gardens, through Soho to Leicester Square, and on to Trafalgar Square. We’ll wander past royal St. James park on our way to Buckingham Palace. We will stroll past Westminster Abbey, Parliament, and Big Ben. Here, we’ll take a break in a great Pub for dinner. Afterwards, we will cross over the Thames to get a great picture of Parliament and Big Ben as the sun sets.
Airport Transfer/Walking Tour/Dinner Together/Overnight London
This morning we will continue exploring this wonderful city. We’ll hop on a double decker bus to get a bird's eye view of the city before jumping off to meet our guide for the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
Depending on the weather, we will have a picnic in the park or eat lunch in a nearby Pub.
After lunch, we will have an orientation to using the London Underground and you’ll have the afternoon free to explore this vibrant city. Perhaps you want to do some shopping, explore nearby Churchill War Rooms, checkout one of London’s amazing museums, go up in the London Eye, or see the public garden in a skyscraper - Sky Garden. We will have these and many other options available to you based on our pre-trip discussions.
We’ll meet back up for dinner together tonight.
Double Decker bus tour/Changing of the Guard/Free Time in London/Dinner Together/Overnight London
This morning we will make our way to UNESCO World Heritage Site Westminster Abbey for our locally guided tour. This magnificent Abbey is where English kings and queens have been crowned, married, and buried since the 11th century and more than 3000 famous people are buried.
After our tour, we’ll make our way along the Southbank to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre for a tour of this reconstruction of an Elizabethan playhouse on the same spot where it originally stood.
We’ll have lunch together and, depending on your pre-trip selections, you’ll have an opportunity to go to the nearby Tate Modern, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Eye, or take a river cruise to UNESCO World Heritage Site Greenwich, UNESCO World Heritage Site Kew Gardens, or King Henry VIII’s Hampton Court Palace.
This evening we can book a night at the theatre for you based on our pre-trip discussions.
UNESCO World Heritage Site Westminster Abbey/Tour of Shakespear’s Globe Theatre/Lunch Together/Overnight London
We begin our day at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tower of London. Here we will explore the 700-year-old Tower of London complex and view the Crown Jewels of English monarchs. The first building built in this royal complex was the White Tower built by William the Conqueror in 1066.
Afterwards, we will then walk across Tower Bridge to Borough Market - one of the largest and oldest food markets in London. There has been a market here since the 12th century. We will have a foodie tour of the market and the surrounding area. (Borough Market is not open Sunday - Tuesday. If we are not in London on one of those days, we will have lunch along the Thames).
Based on your pre-trip selections, you will have the evening to explore and dinner at the restaurant of your choice.
Borough Market/UNESCO World Heritage Site Tower of London/Tower Bridge/Overnight London
We will check out of our hotel after breakfast and make our way to St. Pancras Station to take the famous Eurostar to Paris. For our Harry Potter fans, you will also be able to visit the nearby famous Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾.
We will have light lunch on the train. Once we arrive in Paris, we will settle into our hotel near the Eiffel Tower. We will have a short walking orientation tour of our neighborhood followed by a panoramic bus tour of the highlights of Paris.
Our first night in Paris, we’ll meet up for dinner and a sunset cruise down the River Seine. It’s a magical experience to see the City of Lights from the water at sunset.
Eurostar to Paris/Highlights Tour of Paris/Dinner Together/Sunset Seine River Cruise/Overnight Paris
This morning we will start where Paris started, on the island Île de la Cité. We will take a walking tour of this island where we will see the iconic Notre Dame. We will go around the outside as it will be closed due to repairs until at least 2024. We will visit the other big treasure of the Île de la Cité - the exquisite Sainte-Chapelle. We will continue by exploring the Latin Quarter - named for the language spoken here in the Middle Ages.
Our lunch today will be a food tour in a nearby Parisian neighborhood. You can’t go to Paris without tasting some of what French food has to offer - the french baguettes, croissants, french cheese, french wine, macaroons, and more. My mouth is already watering.
You will have the afternoon to visit your choice of sites, based on our pre-trip discussions, with your skip-the-line tickets.
The Louvre is open a few nights of the week. We recommend an evening tour of the Louvre when it is the least crowded. We can enjoy a quick snack in the museum and/or dinner afterwards.
Walking Tour of Historic Paris/Foodie Tour of Paris Neighborhood/Skip-the-line tickets to more than 60 Museums in Paris/Overnight Paris
This morning we travel by train to visit the opulent palace built by Louis XIV, the Sun King - in Versailles. We’ll have a guided tour where we’ll see the renowned Hall of Mirrors, and many more sumptuous palace rooms. You’ll have time to explore the amazing gardens, fountains, and lake of the palace. Tucked away inside the garden is the little picturesque village built for Marie Antoinette so she could pretend she was a simple farmer. We will head back to Paris at your leisure.
Your evening willl include dinner reservations at the restaurant of your choice and recommendations to explore the nightlife of Paris.
Versailles Tour/Overnight Paris
Today is a great morning to visit the sone of the best markets in Paris - the March Bastille, Rue Cler, Marché des Enfants Rouges, Marché Mouffetard, and many others. They have an array of fresh fish, meats, cheese, pastries, fruit,vegetables, flowers, wine, clothes, bags, scarves, and much more.
In the afternoon, we’ll take the Metro to Montmartre. We’ll explore this area on the hill above Paris that used to be outside the city gates and, therefore, cheaper. That meant that artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and many others lived here. It is also home to the Moulin Rogue - the birthplace of the Can Can. After exploring this bohemian area, we will visit the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur. where you'll have amazing view of Paris.
We will meet up for dinner to say goodbye to the City of Lights.
Tour of Montmartre/Bascillica of Sacre-Coeur/Dinner Together/Overnight Paris
This morning we will be taking the high speed train to Amsterdam.
Once we have settled into our hotel, we will take a stroll in the heart of Amsterdam starting with Dam Square. After making our way through the Red Light district, we will check out the Westerkerk and the HomoMonument. We’ll walk along the famous canals and end our walk near the Little Nine Streets (negen straatjes), before heading to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.
After dinner, we will take a short walk go to Leisdlesplien - my favorite of the entertainment areas of Amsterdam to continue our stroll around this magnificent city.
Orientation walk of Amsterdam/Dinner Together/Overnight Amsterdam
Today we will hit the big highlights of Amsterdam. We will start with the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. These are least crowded in the morning. The Rijksmuseum recently completed a 10 years long renovation and is a beautiful building housing some of the best Dutch paintings in the world. The Van Gogh Museum houses the largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world. This is a must do for anyone who even vaguely like Van Gogh.
After the museums, we will explore the world famous Amsterdam canals by private boat. Captained by your tour leader, you can sit back and relax as the city floats by. We will have a light picnic lunch on the boat. You’ll have time in the afternoon to relax or explore some more.
Join us this evening for dinner together as we experience an Indonesian RijstTafel (or Rice Table).
After dinner, we will visit the famous Anne Frank House. It’s open until 10pm. We will have a local guide give us an introduction to the history of WWII, the museum and the life of Anne Frank.

This morning feel free to catch up on some sleep, walk the canals or just take your time and sip a drink in a sidewalk cafe, the choice is yours.
Be ready late morning as we join our favorite local guides for a food walking tour of Amsterdam. They will take us around to Dutch food stalls and restaurants to discover both the sweet and savory tastes of Amsterdam like stroopwafels (caramel waffles), poffertjies(sweet little pancakes), herring, croquettes, frites (Belgian fries), and much more.
To wash all that food down, we’ll go to the Heineken Experience. The Heineken Experience is a fun, interactive tour through the old Heineken Brewery.
For our last night in Amsterdam, we will enjoy an evening walk and dinner through vibrant Amsterdam.
